Bagels, Smoothies, and Milkshakes
Hey guys! Sorry I haven’t posted for a few days, but I’ve still been taking pics of my food! Here are a few of my favorite eats from the past few days!
One of my favorite things to eat recently has been bagels!
And my favorite thing to drink has been smoothies! I’ve been making smoothies every day, thanks to the best purchase ever, the Magic Bullet Blender, which I just love because it’s so easy to use and clean!
Is that smoothie a pretty color or what?!
I added some POM juice to the smoothie and it tasted delish!
Full product review for the POM juice to be posted Monday!
And I made a milkshake today.
The milkshake was a bit too liquidy so next time I might try adding some avocado (can’t remember where I read this tip?) to make the milkshake a bit thicker.
I can’t wait to make other things in the Magic Bullet, too – perhaps some nut butters and hummus. I’m excited to see how they’ll turn out!
Have a great night!
Talk to you guys tomorrow!

Wow the blueberry bagel looks delicious. I Love bagels, toasted with jam or butter.

I don’t think I’ve ever had bagels toasted with jam or butter. I’ll have to try that – thanks for the suggestions!

I have wanted a magic bullet for forever! I’ve been making lots of smoothies lately too, i usually cut up a banana, and freeze it- then add that to the smoothie which makes it a lot thicker! If you don’t like bananas maybe try freezing other fruits? Good luck

That’s a great idea – thanks!

Oh no, that’s not good! Thanks for letting me know – at least now I won’t get my hopes up and won’t be too disappointed if I try it and it doesn’t come out too well!

Aren’t smoothies the best?!

I just bought a Magic Bullet so that my kids can make smoothies themselves, to their own liking and it seems to be working pretty good for that. I cut up a variety of fruits, strawbs, canteloupe, blueberries, apples, banana and freeze them in sepearate bags. My kids choose their fruit, add a little milk or apple juice and yummy! Thickness dependant on how much liquid. Has anyone tried chopping onions in this thing? Mine came out half liquified, half un-chopped.

Hi Sandy, thanks for stopping by! I agree that the Magic Bullet blender works well for smoothies – actually, that’s all I’ve tried making in it so far, so unfortunately I don’t know how well it chops onions. I’ll ask my readers in my next post!
