Lovely Day

Hi guys!  Hope you all had a wonderful Saturday!  Mine was awesome!

I started the day with a bowl of Cheerios and banana, plus a glass of milk.  Mmmm!

I walked outside for about an hour, maybe a little more.  It was so gorgeous outside!

Later on, I had a muffin top and a tiny bit of juice and cheese and crackers.

Then for dinner I had a salad with lettuce, cucumber, and apple slices.  Dressing was olive oil and balsamic vinegar.  I also had a grilled cheese sandwich, which was made with non-dairy cheese.  At first I didn’t notice that it wasn’t regular cheese, but after I ate about a quarter of the sandwich, it started to taste funny to me.  I ate half of the sandwich in total, and then decided to try another bite.  Bad idea.  It just tasted so off to me that I had to spit it out!  I really felt that if I swallowed that bite, I would be sick for the rest of the night, but I felt so terrible because I never waste my food like that!

Anyway, later I had two and half (or maybe three and a half?) chocolate chip cookies, plus a tiny bit of milk.  I haven’t eaten any cookies in weeks and honestly haven’t had a craving for them, but I can’t resist chocolate chip cookies!  I also ate 4 or 5 chicken nuggets because I was still trying to get rid of the aftertaste from the grilled cheese sandwich.  I wanted to go back for the rest of the cookie, but didn’t because otherwise I would end up eating like 5 more instead of just the remaining 1/2 of the cookie like I planned.  Instead, I made myself a bowl of Cheerios with banana, plus half a glass of milk.  I drank all the milk, and ate about half the bowl of Cheerios (saving the rest for tomorrow) before I started to feel really full.

All in all, it was a great day :)

See you for breakfast!

P.S.  Does anyone have any recommendations for a good brand of non-dairy cheese?  (I’m not looking to give up real cheese, I’m just curious)

Haha, I’m still going to eat real cheese – the non-dairy cheese just can’t compare, but I think it would be fun to try other non-dairy cheese anyway!

This was my first time trying non-dairy cheese – maybe I’m just not used to the taste and would like it better if I tried it again? I don’t know. Let me know what you think of it if you try some!
