Recipe Reviews, Plus Best Eats

Hello everyone!  So remember how I said I was going to make 2 recipes with diced apple?

Diced Apple

Diced Apple

Well, here’s what I made and the reviews!

So you guys were right – I made bread pudding!  Banana Oat Bread Pudding, to be exact, which I also added diced apple to.  I forgot to add chocolate chips to the mixture, so I decided to just add toppings to the mixture before I put it in the oven.  I added oats to about a half of the mixture, and chocolate chips to most of the remaining half.

This was my second time making this, and I have to say that I liked it better last time.  I just liked the texture a lot better.  I used the same pan this time, but with half the mixture (I doubled the recipe last time), and the bread pudding came out too thin since the pan was so big.  I probably should have used an 8×8 pan instead.  It was still good, just not as great as last time.

The second dish I made was stuffing/dressing, which I used the rest of the diced apple for.  I added some chicken broth to the mixture to make it a bit more moist, but I used too much, and it ended up coming out too moist!

The above picture is the dressing/stuffing before it went in the oven.  I forgot to take a picture afterward!  Anyway, I thought it was okay, but since it was so moist, I didn’t like it too much!  But that was my fault for adding so much chicken broth!  Doesn’t it look so good, though?!

Okay, so now that you’re all caught up on the recipes/reviews, let’s move on to my best eats of the past few days!

Thursday’s Best Eats

Repeat of the best dinner ever!  Yay!  I had a salad made up of lettuce, cucumber, red pepper, and tuna fish, mixed with olive oil and balsamic vinegar!  It was so delicious!  I believe I said, “Oh my gosh, this is sooo good” after every single bite!  Haha, just like last time!  This is just such a healthy meal!  I love it!

Friday’s Best Eats

Hot dog with baked beans!  Mmmm, so good!  Sometimes you just gotta have a hot dog with baked beans!

Saturday’s Best Eats

Greek yogurt mixed with jam and pomegranate seeds, plus toast with jam, and a glass of milk.
