		<description>The problem is here that you didn&#039;t leave the cover on. By taking the cover off and stirring the whole time you dried it out. Leaving the cover on and stirring occasionally would have prevented this. Lowest possible setting and leave it for at least 10 minutes at a time. If you must stir constantly you will need to add a lot of water to compensate. Like 6 cups or so-just a guess. Also, if you like chunky tomato sauce you can leave it. I like to put my ingredients in the blender before hand or use a hand blender right in the pot.</description>

I add a TON of water (maybe 4-5 cups for the amount you made) so it is totally soupy, turn it down low and simmer it uncovered.  All the water cooks out and it thickens up.  If it gets a little &quot;dry&quot; and you start getting those, um, bubbles that pop and splatter sauce on the walls, just add some more water.</description>
